Grand Teton National Park

The Grand Teton National Park Fine Art Photography Gallery. Grand Teton National Park was established in 1929, and is located 10 miles South of Yellowstone National Park in Western Wyoming. The mountain range is 40 miles long, and is one of the most beautiful and iconic mountain ranges in the U.S. Grand Teton National Park centers on the Teton Range, a dramatic, jagged mountain skyline rising abruptly from the valley floor. The park covers diverse landscapes including steep alpine peaks, glacially carved lakes (Jackson Lake, Jenny Lake), river wetlands along the Snake River, and sagebrush–grassland valleys. Elevation ranges from valley floor of 6,300 ft to Grand Teton summit of 13,775 ft, producing varied ecosystems and abundant wildlife including elk, moose, bison, black and grizzly bears, mule deer, pronghorn, wolves, beavers, and many bird species.
