Glacier National Park

The Glacier National Park Fine Art Photography Gallery. Often referred to as the “Crown of the Continent” due to its unique geological features and rich wildlife, Glacier National Park is located in Northwestern Montana, and was established in 1910. The park encompasses more than 1,500 square miles of rugged Rocky Mountain terrain, jagged peaks, glacial cirques, turquoise alpine lakes, and U-shaped valleys. Visitors come for scenic drives (notably Going-to-the-Sun Road), more than 700 miles of trails, 130 lakes, abundant wildlife (mountain goats, bighorn sheep, elk, bears), and over 1000 species of plants.
